The latest project updates by JDA Aviation Technology Solutions

welcomeThe O’Hare noise reduction project is a neutral study in an effort to move forward with the FAA and the City of Chicago focusing on alleviating noise impact without degrading operations, efficiency or safety.

The objective is to work collaboratively with FAA, the City of Chicago Aviation Authority and major users of the airport to seek potential noise reduction strategies that are practical to implement, have no significant impact on operational efficiency, and most importantly have no effect on safety.

This website is intended to provide the latest developments, documentation and information regarding this project. If you have any questions, comments or other material that would contribute to the website, feel free to submit them through our Community Comments page.
